The Institute of Leadership and Performance Improvement's (ILPI) mission is to inspire and equip youth and community leaders globally with knowledge and opportunities in the area of STREAM, servant leadership and civic engagement.
Our Programs
Yolo
YOLO (Youth Overcoming Life's Obstacles) - provides a vehicle for youth to express their issues and concerns in a comfortable and safe environment. The group sessions are led by counselors and educators trained in areas of bullying, personal and career development, relationships, self-esteem, etc. YOLO is designed to help young people identify and utilize challenges and failures as motivation to achieve success.
Yes
YES (Youth Empowerment Seminars) are a series of workshops designed for small groups of young people with a structured curriculum to inspire and inform them with core principles of servant leadership. The workshops provide practical tools and strategies that can be seamlessly into their lifestyle. The program empowers youth by combining service learning with proven leadership principles and opportunities to lead and serve their community.
Youth Max
YouthMAX (John C. Maxwell Leadership Conference) is a leadership event designed to give today’s young people practical tools and ideas to help them navigate life in four key areas. • The four key topics are Stand Up & Be Counted (Stop Bullying), Learning to Fail Forward to Success, Developing a Positive Self-Image and Developing Strong Personal Character. • When young people are challenged to grow and become leaders, they respond. YouthMAX provides both the challenge and guidance, showing how they can improve their lives and positively influence their peers. • During the YouthMAX event certified John Maxwell Team speakers are providing free leadership training for area youth by forming partnerships with local schools and youth organizations globally.

ILPI exposes its youth to a myriad of career opportunities available to them. In addition, ILPI facilitates this career achievement by educating young people in the knowledge, skills and educational requirements necessary to realize their career aspirations.
